Site constructed plants typically consist of concrete or steel tanks with the USBF clarifiers fabricated from polypropylene, epoxy coated steel or stainless steel installed within. The clarifiers can be shop pre-fabricated or site assembled, and they are either prism or cone shaped. Since they can be installed within virtually any existing vessel they often are a solution to existing underperforming plants retrofits.
